Kyrielle
Sonnet
Like a Kyrielle, This poem has repeating lines but is slightly
more complicated. It also has only eight syllables per line.
It contains four stanzas. The first three have four lines, and
the last one has only two. The last line of each stanza is the same
(like a Kyrielkle) and the last stanza consists only of the first
line of the poem, and the last line of each stanza. Is you're head
spinning yet? Check out the sample below...and send it to your girl.
(you might not understand this poem if you're not a Christian)
The Love Between
It took the heat from flaming hearts
To cause the blackened world to start
The oceans live, the rivers flow
It Makes The Love Between Us Grow
The three fold love beyond our grasp
Creates, sustains, moves 'now' to 'past'
It makes the bonds that never show
It Makes The Love Between Us Grow
We seek guidance to make it through
That makes us one instead of two
The bond between the three we know
It Makes The Love Between Us Grow
It took the heat from flaming hearts
It Makes The Love Between Us Grow
